It is my sincere hope that you will enjoy witnessing my journey as it is divinely inspired and meant to be shared by many...my mission is a challenging one and your love and support along with your prayers are greatly appreciated!
If there seems to be a lull here and there it is because I will only write when truly inspired to do so...it is important to me that this space remain as heartfelt and genuine as possible.
In keeping with that...there will be disturbing images and articles here, this is Africa's reality and I will not "sugar coat" it. I ask you to please open your mind and heart to it all, it needs your attention.

I want to let you, my friends know that I consider all human beings equal and special, regardless of their religious beliefs or lack thereof, you are welcome here on this site to read, to share as yourself. I do not wish to debate religion here at all as I consider my efforts Humanitarian in nature, it just so happens that I am an active Christian and that is what drives me...

I welcome any and all tips or information that may find you regarding ACTIVE missions that will take on a small family for an indefinate amount of time in Tanzania or Kenya {poss.} or any other part of Africa that has a fairly stable Govt. It is a huge priority while my child is young that she be "safe" while we are there. I go into this realizing there is no way of guaranteeing our safety 100% but I must exercise common sense because of her young age. I would also greatly welcome feedback from former or present volunteers based in Tanzania most specifically but anywhere in Africa. Although I have a good solid connection thus far there is always the possibility it will not come into fruition due to any unknown cause. My heart remains open and I fully believe God will work his miracles through us in fellowship...I am also open to people that are SINCERLY committed to being a strong part of this "mission"...and are independent and industrious as I am still defining exactly what the mission is to become. It is premature to speculate other than to reiterate my desire to bring the Gospel to those desiring it. This does NOT mean we will minister only to Christians or potential Christians! The word "minister" means many things and it is my hope to do whatever is needed to provide HOPE to people that are trying desperately to survive amidst horrific odds. I have NO desire to convert people from their own beliefs only to extend my hand to those that want it.
Tanzania is inundated with orphans, the desire to nurture and befriend them is a must. I am completely comfortable in knowing that God will ultimately put us where he needs us. From AIDS education to administering innoculations to building schools there is SO much to be done!
I pray to be led...

My love for the Lord and my "calling"are a gift beyond measure
